Maaelupoliitika arutelude raames käivitab OECD ettevõtluse, VKEde, regioonide ja linnade keskus (OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities – CFE) kaks online töötubade seeriat, mis keskenduvad kahele tõhusa maaelupoliitika jaoks kesksele teemale: maaeluga seotud kommunikatsioonile ning maaelu mõju hindamisele (rural proofing).
Aruteludes osalevad poliitikakujundajad, ajakirjanikud, kogukondade esindajad ja praktikud, pakkudes eri vaatenurki ning praktilisi teadmisi selle kohta, kuidas tugevdada maaelu mõju hindamist ja parandada suhtlust maapiirkondade kogukondadega.
